Biography
Adiescar Chase is an English composer and multi-instrumentalist. She is from Bedford, Bedfordshire. She graduated with a first-class BMus (Hons) in composition from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2017 and earned a master's degree in Composition for Film and Television from the National Film and Television School in 2021.
Chase composed the original score for the Netflix series Heartstopper (2022–2024), including seasons one and two. She has also composed for the BBC drama series Waterloo Road (2023–2025) and other projects including Bergerac (2025–2026) and Falling (2026). In 2024 she received a BAFTA Craft Award nomination for Best Original Music: Fiction for her work on Heartstopper.
