Biography
Adolfo Assor is a Chilean actor born in 1945 in Valdivia. He studied acting at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago from 1971 to 1974, after beginning an engineering degree, and spent the following two decades performing in theatre groups and solo projects across Chile and other South American countries.
Assor moved to Germany in 1986. He runs his own small theatre, the Garn-Theater, in Berlin-Kreuzberg, where he has staged numerous productions, and has worked as an actor, director and designer in other German theatres. He has appeared in more than twenty films and television productions, including Victoria (2015) as the Kiosk Seller, Chicken with Plums (2011) and Urban Explorer (2011).
