Biography

Adriana Paz is a Mexican actress. Born in Mexico City on 13 January 1980, she graduated in dramatic literature and theatre from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. After completing her studies she moved to Barcelona, where she trained in dance and appeared in theatre productions and Spanish television commercials.

Paz first gained notice for her performance as Toña in Rudo y Cursi (2008). She has since appeared in films including Spectre (2015) and Emilia Pérez (2024), playing Epifanía. She has won three Ariel Awards, for La Tirisia (2014), Hilda (2014) and La Caridad (2016), and received a Goya Award nomination for El Autor (2017). With her co-stars she shared the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress for Emilia Pérez. She is also known for playing Altagracia in the series Vis a vis (2018–2019).
