Biography
Aeysha Carr is a television writer and producer. Her early writing credits include episodes of My Wife and Kids (2003–2005), Everybody Hates Chris (2005–2008) and Tyler Perry's House of Payne (2011).
She worked as co-producer and supervising producer on The Carmichael Show (2015–2017). On Brooklyn Nine-Nine she served as supervising producer across 22 episodes in 2017–2018 and wrote the episode 'The Favor' (2017). Subsequent credits include writing and producing on Rel (2018), Woke (2020–2022, where she was showrunner and executive producer), Uncoupled (2022) and Government Cheese (2025, co-creator and executive producer/showrunner).
