Biography
Aisling O'Sullivan is an Irish actress. She trained at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin and joined the Abbey Theatre in 1991.
She is known for her role as Ma Brady in The Butcher Boy (1997). Other film credits include Michael Collins (1996), The War Zone (1999), Six Shooter (2004) and A Film with Me in It (2008). On television she played Dr Cathy Costello in The Clinic (2003–2008), winning an IFTA for best actress in 2008, and Fiona Kelly in Raw (2010–2013).
In theatre she received acclaim for playing Widow Quin in Druid Theatre Company's 2004 production of The Playboy of the Western World and later toured as the title character in Big Maggie.
