Biography
AJ Michalka is an American actress, singer and musician. Born Amanda Joy Michalka on 10 April 1991 in Torrance, California, she performs as one half of the musical duo Aly & AJ with her sister Aly Michalka (briefly known as 78violet).
She has appeared in films including The Lovely Bones (2009), Secretariat (2010) and Super 8 (2011). On television she played Lainey Lewis in the series The Goldbergs (2013–2023) and its spin-off Schooled (2019–2020), and voiced Catra in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018–2020). She voiced Stevonnie in the animated series Steven Universe (2013–2019).
