Biography
Akaash Meeda is a British television director and writer. He began directing at the age of 16, when he was commissioned by Milton Keynes Council to direct a six-part comedy-drama web series.
Meeda has directed episodes of series including The Lazarus Project (2022), G'wed (2024), Man Like Mobeen (2023), Mobility (2023), The Other Half (2022), Nova Jones (2021), Casualty (2021) and Almost Never (2019–2020). He previously worked as a second unit or assistant director on productions such as Dream Horse (2021), Behind Her Eyes (2021), Catherine the Great (2019) and A Discovery of Witches (2018).
He has also directed several short films and has original projects in development as a writer.
