Biography
Akemi Okamura is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, affiliated with Mausu Promotion. She was born on 12 March 1969.
She graduated from the Tokyo Announcement Academy in 1990 and joined Mausu Promotion's training programme, becoming a full member in 1992. That year she made her debut as Fio Piccolo in the Studio Ghibli film Porco Rosso.
Okamura is best known for voicing Nami in the long-running series One Piece (1999–present). Other notable roles include Risa Koizumi in Lovely Complex (2007) and Ran Mouri in Detective Conan (from 2026). In 2024 she received the Kei Tomiyama and Kazue Takahashi Award at the 18th Seiyu Awards.
