Biography
Akihiko Yose is a Japanese film producer. He has collaborated repeatedly with director Hirokazu Kore-eda, serving as producer on After the Storm (2016), The Long Excuse (2016) and Shoplifters (2018). The last of these won the Palme d'Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
Yose is affiliated with the production company AOI Pro. His professional relationship with Kore-eda began more than ten years earlier through work on commercials, leading to their first feature collaboration on After the Storm.
