Biography
Alan Crosland Jr. (also credited as Alan Crosland or Allen Crosland) was an American director and editor of film and television. The son of director Alan Crosland, he began his career as an editor in the 1940s before moving into directing in the mid-1950s.
He directed episodes of numerous television series, including The Twilight Zone (1959), The Wild Wild West (1965), Wonder Woman (1975), The Six Million Dollar Man (1974) and MacGyver (1985). He also directed the two-part pilot of The Bionic Woman (1976). His editing credits include Marty (1955) and Sweet Smell of Success (1957).
Crosland served in the US Navy during the Second World War. He was active from the 1940s until the 1980s.
