Biography
Alan Gilmore is a production designer and former art director. He trained in architecture in Dublin before entering the film industry through small Irish productions and subsequently worked with UK crews in London.
His early credits include art direction on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), as well as supervising art director roles on The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and United 93 (2006). He has also contributed to theme park design for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
As a production designer, Gilmore's credits include Crawl (2019), The Pope's Exorcist (2023) and Cobweb (2023). He has received Emmy nominations for his work.
