Biography
Albert Delpy is a French actor and writer. Born on 13 September 1940 in Saigon, Vietnam, he began his career in theatre in the early 1960s and made his film debut in 1970.
He has appeared in more than one hundred films. His credits include The Tenant (1976), Ridicule (1996), Before Sunset (2004) as the man at the grill, 2 Days in Paris (2007) and 2 Days in New York (2012) as Jeannot, and Deerskin (2019).
Delpy is the father of actress and director Julie Delpy and has played her on-screen father in several of her projects, including the two 2 Days films and the series On the Verge. He was married to actress Marie Pillet until her death in 2009.
