Biography
Aleisha Allen is an American actress. Born Aleisha LaNaé Allen on 28 April 1991 in the Bronx, New York, she began modelling for print and television advertisements at the age of four.
She first appeared on television as a child, providing the voice of Sidetable Drawer on Blue's Clues (1996–2007) and appearing in Out of the Box. Allen played Alicia in the film The School of Rock (2003), Lindsey Kingston in Are We There Yet? (2005) and its sequel Are We Done Yet? (2007), and had a role in Young Adult (2011). She trained at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan and later studied communication sciences and disorders at Pace University and Columbia University.
Allen is a licensed speech-language pathologist.
