Biography
Alejandro Edda is a Mexican-American actor born on 17 May 1984 in Puebla, Mexico. After high school, he studied arts at the Russian Conservatory in Mexico City. He later moved to the United States, first joining his mother in San Francisco before settling in Los Angeles, where he trained at the Meisner Acting Studio.
Edda is best known for playing Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán in the series Narcos: Mexico (2018–2021) and Marco Rodriguez in Fear the Walking Dead (2016). Other credits include Jorge Ochoa in American Made (2017), T.T. in The Forever Purge (2021), Neron Chavez in Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024) and De La Paz in Play Dirty (2025). In 2026 he appeared as Luis in Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty!.
