Biography
Alex Barnow is an American television writer and producer. He worked as a staff writer on the animated series Family Guy in 2001–2002.
Barnow co-created the sitcom Mr. Sunshine (2011) with Matthew Perry and Marc Firek. He has written episodes of and held producing roles on Rules of Engagement, 'Til Death, Out of Practice and The Goldbergs, serving as showrunner on the latter from 2019. He also wrote the 2019 film Shaft.
