Biography
Alex Ebert is an American singer-songwriter and composer. He is the lead singer and songwriter for the bands Ima Robot and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
Ebert composed the scores for the films All Is Lost (2013) and A Most Violent Year (2014), the latter directed by J. C. Chandor. He won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for All Is Lost. His other film work includes the short Feast (2014) and a soundtrack contribution to Booksmart (2019). He has also composed for television series including I'm Dying Up Here (2017).
