Biography
Alex Russell is an American writer, producer and director. Born in Chicago in 1991, he initially studied engineering before teaching himself screenwriting. He began his television career as a staff writer and story editor on the FX series Dave (2020).
Russell has written episodes of The Bear (2022), Beef (2023) and Interior Chinatown (2024), and has served as a producer on the first two. He wrote and directed the feature Lurker (2025), his directorial debut.
