Biography
Alex Turner is an English musician, singer, guitarist and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist and principal songwriter of the indie rock band Arctic Monkeys, with whom he has released several studio albums since 2006.
Turner has also worked as a composer. He wrote and performed the original songs for the soundtrack to Richard Ayoade's 2010 film Submarine, released as a six-track EP in 2011. He has recorded with his side project The Last Shadow Puppets.
