Biography
Alexander Glehr is an Austrian film producer. He studied film production at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna from 1999 to 2006. He began working as a production manager and collaborated for many years with director Franz Novotny before becoming managing director of the production company Novotny & Novotny in 2018.
Glehr has produced or co-produced films including Egon Schiele: Death and the Maiden (2016), 7500 (2019), Corsage (2022), What We Wanted (2020), Family Dinner (2022) and Gentle Monster (2026). He has worked repeatedly with director Marie Kreutzer. He received a Romy award for best producer for Egon Schiele: Death and the Maiden and has received multiple nominations for the Austrian Film Award.
