Biography
Alexandra Strauss is a film editor. She edited Raoul Peck’s documentary I Am Not Your Negro (2017), which was nominated for an Academy Award.
Strauss has frequently collaborated with Swedish director Roy Andersson. Her credits include You, the Living (2007) and A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence (2014). She has also worked on Peck’s Exterminate All the Brutes (2021) and Orwell: 2+2=5 (2025), as well as other features and documentaries such as The Raft (2018) and Ernest Cole: Lost and Found (2024). She has received multiple nominations for editing awards.
