Biography

Alexandre de La Patellière is a French screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 24 June 1971 in Paris, he is the son of filmmaker Denys de La Patellière. He began working in film and television in the 1990s, including writing episodes for the series Maigret.

He has collaborated extensively with Matthieu Delaporte. Their joint credits include the play and film What's in a Name? (2012, also known as Le Prénom), the screenplays for 22 Bullets (2010) and the two The Three Musketeers films (2023), and the direction and screenplay for The Count of Monte Cristo (2024). They have also worked on other comedies and adaptations such as Daddy or Mommy (2015).
