Biography
Alexandre Tharaud is a French pianist born on 9 December 1968 in Paris. He has released numerous recordings and performs regularly on the concert stage.
Tharaud performed the piano music for Michael Haneke’s film Amour (2012) and appeared in a supporting role as Alexandre, a former student of the central characters. He is also credited as a musician on A Tale of Springtime (1990).
