Biography
Alexandru Potocean is a Romanian actor. He trained at the I. L. Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, where he studied under Ion Cojar and won a Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in a production of Simon Stephens' Port.
Potocean made his screen debut in The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005). He is known for roles in Romanian films including 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007) as Adi, Silent Wedding (2008) as Iancu, Tales from the Golden Age (2009), and Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn (2021) as Marius Buzdrugovici. His international credits include The Way Back (2010) as Tomasz and The Whistleblower (2010) as Viko.
