Biography
Alexis Georgoulis is a Greek actor. He was born on 6 October 1974 in Larissa, Greece. He studied civil engineering at the National Technical University of Athens before training at the Jasmine drama school and beginning his career in theatre and dance.
Georgoulis first gained prominence in Greece with his role in the 2001 television series Eisai to Tairi mou. His international film credits include My Life in Ruins (2009) and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 (2023). He is known for portraying Spiros Halikiopoulos in the series The Durrells (2016–2019).
As a member of the Syriza party, he served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2019 to 2024.
