Biography
Alexis Scott is a costume designer who has worked on more than forty films and television productions. Her credits include costume design on Buffalo '66 (1998), National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Husk (2011), Message from the King (2017) and Rust Creek (2019), as well as assistant costume designer on Æon Flux (2005) and key costumer on Judas and the Black Messiah (2021).
Scott began her career in the early 1990s while at college, working at a San Francisco costume shop that produced work for the San Francisco Ballet and puppetry projects. She later moved to New York and then Los Angeles, where she joined the union after assisting on The Marrying Man and The Addams Family. She has collaborated with directors including Vincent Gallo, Wim Wenders, Alex Cox, Chris Eyre and Abel Ferrara.
