Biography
Alexis Zegerman is a British actress and writer. She grew up in London and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
She is known for her role as Zoe in Mike Leigh's Happy-Go-Lucky (2008), for which she won the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She had previously appeared in Leigh's play Two Thousand Years at the National Theatre in 2005. Other screen credits include Disobedience (2018) as Rivka, Hijack (2023) as Miranda, Albatross (2011), The Wedding Video (2012) and Steal (2026) as Caldwell.
Zegerman has also worked extensively in theatre and as a writer of plays and screenplays.
