Biography
Ali Badshah is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer, producer and director. Born in Toronto in 1978, he trained with The Second City and Yuk Yuk's and began his career in stand-up and sketch comedy.
He created and starred in the CBC web series Bloody Immigrants and has written and performed comedy specials for CBC, CTV, The Comedy Network, MTV and ABC2 Australia. Badshah is known for his voice role as Nurullah in the animated film The Breadwinner (2017) and for television appearances in Kim's Convenience (2016), Ghosts (2021) and Hudson & Rex (2019).
