Biography
Ali Mosaffa is an Iranian actor and filmmaker. Born on 1 December 1966 in Tehran, he graduated in civil engineering from the University of Tehran. He made his acting debut in the 1991 film Omid and won the best actor prize at the Fajr International Film Festival the following year for his role in Pari.
Mosaffa is known for his performances in films including Leila (1996), The Last Step (2012), which he also directed, and The Past (2013), in which he played Ahmad. He married actress Leila Hatami, whom he met on the set of Leila, in 1999.
