Biography
Alice Nevalinga, also credited as Nyla, is an Inuit actor. She appeared as Nanook's Wife - the Smiling One in the 1922 documentary film Nanook of the North directed by Robert J. Flaherty.
She is the mother of Quebec Inuit leader and author Taamusi Qumaq (1914–1993).
