Biography
Alisa Statman is a television director and former assistant director. She began her career in production and assistant director roles in the late 1980s, working on films including Maverick (1994).
She served as first assistant director on 91 episodes of the series Modern Family (2009–2016) before directing seven episodes between 2013 and 2016. Statman has directed episodes of Fresh Off the Boat (2015–2019), Life in Pieces (2015–2017), American Housewife (2016–2020), Superstore (2016) and Alex, Inc. (2018).
