Biography

Alisha Brophy is an American writer for television and film. She studied English literature at UC Berkeley and completed an MFA in screenwriting at the University of Texas at Austin, where she met her frequent writing partner Scott Miles.

Brophy and Miles won the 2014 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting for their screenplay The United States of Fuckin’ Awesome. Their credits include writing on Ninjago (2020) and its related shorts. She has also worked as a staff writer and story contributor on the Netflix animated series Inside Job (2021–2022).

Brophy has written episodes of Yellowjackets (2021–), including co-writing the season three episode “Croak” (2025), and served as a writer’s assistant on the series. She previously worked as an uncredited script coordinator on Hemlock Grove (2013).
