Biography
Alix Madigan, also credited as Alix Madigan-Yorkin, is an American film producer. Her first production credit was the 1997 film Sunday, which won the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Feature.
She produced Winter's Bone (2010), for which she shared a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture and received the Gotham Award for Best Feature. Other credits include Cleaner (2007), Case 39 (2009), Laggies (2014), White Bird in a Blizzard (2014), The Lie (2018) and Hold Your Breath (2024). She has also served as executive producer on films including Your Friends & Neighbors (1998) and Spinning Man (2018).
Madigan has worked with companies including Anonymous Content, Propaganda Films, Skouras Pictures and Avenue Entertainment. She now runs her own production company, Mad Dog Films. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
