Biography
Allan Jacobsen is an American director and animation professional. Born on 5 March 1970 in Brookhaven, New York, he began working on the animated series King of the Hill (1997) in roles including background layout artist, character designer, storyboard artist and assistant director before directing multiple episodes from 1999 onwards.
He has directed episodes of several animated series, including Dora the Explorer (2000), Go, Diego! Go! (2005), Dawn of the Croods (2015), The Boss Baby: Back in Business (2018) and Spirit Riding Free (2017). His credits also extend to timing director and sheet timer work on other productions.
