Biography
Allan C. Weisbecker (1948–2023) was an American screenwriter and writer. He contributed episodes to the television series Miami Vice (1984), including co-writing 'Glades' and 'Made for Each Other'. He also wrote for Crime Story (1986) and the screenplay for the film Beer (1985).
Weisbecker authored the novel Cosmic Banditos and memoirs including In Search of Captain Zero and Can't You Get Along with Anyone? A Writer's Memoir and a Tale of a Lost Surfer's Paradise. He worked as a photojournalist for publications such as Surfer, Men's Journal and Smithsonian, and was a lifelong surfer.
