Biography

Alma Delia Susana Fuentes González (22 January 1937 – 2 April 2017) was a Mexican actress of film, television and theatre. She began her career as a child actress in the mid-1940s.

She is known for her role as Meche in Luis Buñuel’s The Young and the Damned (1950), for which she received an Ariel Award nomination for Best Child Performance. She won the Ariel Award for Best Youth Performance for Historia de un corazón (1951). Other credits include Full Speed Ahead (1951). She appeared in dozens of films, worked in television from the 1960s and was married to Julio Azcárraga Reyes.
