Alva Chinn is an American actress and former fashion model. She played Diane in Sofia Coppola's On the Rocks (2020). Other film credits include Trainwreck (2015) as a benefit guest, Great Expectations (1998) as a gallery guest, Regarding Henry (1991) as a lawyer, Torch Song Trilogy (1988) as a photographer and Bright Lights, Big City (1988) as a runway model.
On television she has appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2005) as a courtroom spectator, The Cosby Show (1985–1989) in three episodes, and Lifestories: Families in Crisis (1994). She began modelling in the 1970s and was one of Halston's favoured models, known as the Halstonettes.
