Biography
Alvin Ganzer (1911–2009) was an American film and television director. He began working at Paramount Pictures in 1932 in the casting department and later served as an assistant director and second unit director on numerous feature films through the early 1950s.
Ganzer's first credited feature as director was The Girls of Pleasure Island (1953). Between 1954 and 1979 he directed episodes of many television series, including four episodes of The Twilight Zone (1959), seven of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964) and one of Lost in Space (1965). He also directed feature films such as The Leather Saint (1956), Country Music Holiday (1958), When the Boys Meet the Girls (1965) and Three Bites of the Apple (1967).
