Biography
Amanda Boyle is a British director and writer. She studied philosophy and toured festivals with devised theatre productions before beginning her career in production at Working Title Films, where she helped establish the low-budget label WT² and worked on the film Billy Elliot (2000). She began directing short films, including Hotel Infinity (2004) and Pop Art (2008).
Her television directing credits include episodes of Skins (2007), Cast Offs (2009), Sirens (2011) and Chloe (2022). She has also directed the feature Kursk (2012) and the short Skirt (2012). In 2008 she received the Clore Leadership Programme's Film Fellowship.
