Biography
Amanda Crew is a Canadian actress. Born on 5 June 1986 in Langley, British Columbia, she trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts after attending Brookswood Secondary School.
She began her career in Canadian television with lead roles in the series 15/Love (2005–2006) and Whistler (2006–2008). Her film debut was in Final Destination 3 (2006), after which she took lead parts in Sex Drive (2008) and Charlie St. Cloud (2010).
Crew is best known for playing Monica Hall in the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley (2014–2019). She has appeared in supporting roles in films including The Age of Adaline (2015), Freaks (2018) and There's Something Wrong with the Children (2023).
