Biography
Amanda Walsh is a Canadian actress and writer. Born on 3 October 1981 in Rigaud, Quebec, she began working as a professional actor at the age of 12 and later graduated with honours from the Creative Arts programme at John Abbott College. She was formerly a VJ for the Canadian music channel MuchMusic.
Walsh is known for acting roles including Mandy in Smallville (2004), Minnie Tyco in Disturbia (2007), Dawn in Two and a Half Men (2012), Natalie Havershaw in Grimm (2012), and Suzie Boreton in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2017). As a writer, she served as story editor on Schitt's Creek (2015–2016) and wrote one episode; her work on the series earned her a Writers Guild of Canada Award for Best Comedy Script. She has also appeared in series such as Lost Girl and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and produced the series Sloppy Jones.
