Biography
Amerigo Fontani is an Italian actor born on 15 June 1955 in Florence. He trained at the Bottega teatrale di Vittorio Gassman, graduating in 1979, and has worked extensively in theatre, including with Glauco Mauri.
He is known for his role as Rodolfo in Roberto Benigni's Life Is Beautiful (1997). Other film credits include La terza stella (2005) as Guido and Forever Young (2016) as a doctor. On television he has appeared in series such as CentoVetrine.
