Biography
Amir Talai is an American actor and voice artist. Born in San Francisco, he graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in mass communications and a minor in dramatic arts. He began his career with stage work and has appeared in numerous television series and films.
Talai is best known for voicing Alastor the Radio Demon in the animated series Hazbin Hotel (2024–). His other voice credits include Crane in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (2011–2016) and Skidmark in Turbo Fast (2013–2016), as well as roles in Family Guy. Live-action appearances include parts in The Pursuit of Happyness (2006), Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008), What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012), The Circle (2017) and Marriage Story (2019). He has also performed in musical theatre, including at the Hollywood Bowl.
Talai has appeared in series such as How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Modern Family, American Horror Story and Scorpion. He is married to Nina Manni.
