Biography
Amit Poznansky is an Israeli composer born in Tel Aviv in 1974. He has composed original scores for films, television series, documentaries, animated shorts and theatre productions, and works as an arranger and orchestrator across orchestral, jazz and contemporary genres.
He is best known for the score to Joseph Cedar’s Footnote (2011), performed by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra; the music won Best Original Score (Feature Film) at the International Samobor Film Music Festival in 2013. His other credits include Foxtrot (2017), Rabin, the Last Day (2015) and the second season of the Israeli television series Prisoners of War (2012).
