Biography
Amy Foote is a film editor. Her credits include All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (2022), Hail Satan? (2019), Father Soldier Son (2020), The Work (2017) and Girls State (2024). She has also worked as additional editor on Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story (2018) and served in editorial roles on earlier projects such as Mavis! (2015).
Foote began her career as an assistant editor before taking on solo editing assignments, including a low-budget feature for HBO. She has collaborated on documentaries with directors including Laura Poitras and Jesse Moss. Her work on All the Beauty and the Bloodshed earned nominations including for an ACE Eddie award.
