Biography
Amy Gilliam is a British film producer and filmmaker. She is the daughter of director Terry Gilliam and make-up artist Maggie Weston. Born in London in 1978, she studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
Gilliam began working in film in the late 1990s, starting as a costume assistant on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) and later taking roles in camera and production departments. She moved into producing with Push (2009) and served as producer on her father's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009). Subsequent credits include The Wholly Family (2011), The Zero Theorem (2013) and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (2018). She has also worked as executive producer on Monica (2022) and directed the short Soy De Las 3000 (2018).
Several of her productions have screened at major festivals, including premieres at Cannes and Venice.
