Biography
Ana Nogueira is an American screenwriter, playwright and actress. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she trained in musical theatre and began her career as an actor, with roles including Penny Ares in The Vampire Diaries (2016) and appearances in series such as The Michael J. Fox Show and Hightown.
She has written the plays Empathitrax and Which Way to the Stage. Nogueira wrote the screenplay for the DC Studios film Supergirl (2026), directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Milly Alcock. She is also developing screenplays for an untitled Wonder Woman film and an untitled Teen Titans film.
