Biography
André-Line Beauparlant is a Canadian production designer, art director and film director. Born in Montréal in 1966, she studied cinema at the Université de Montréal and graduated in scenography from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1993.
She has worked as production designer on numerous Québec films, including Incendies (2010), for which she received the Jutra Award for best art direction. Other credits include Ravenous (2017), You're Sleeping, Nicole (2014) and Inch'Allah (2012). She has also directed several documentaries, among them Three Princesses for Roland (2001) and Panache (2007).
Beauparlant has received multiple Genie Award and Jutra/Prix Iris nominations for art direction and documentary work.
