Biography
Andrea Berloff is an American screenwriter, director and producer. She was born on 7 April 1974 in Framingham, Massachusetts, and studied at Cornell University.
Berloff wrote the screenplay for the film World Trade Center (2006), directed by Oliver Stone. She co-wrote the screenplay and story for Straight Outta Compton (2015) and received an Academy Award nomination for the screenplay. She made her directorial debut with The Kitchen (2019). Her other screenwriting credits include Blood Father (2016), Sleepless (2017) and The Mother (2023).
