Biography
Andrea Morricone is an Italian composer and conductor. Born in Rome on 10 October 1964, he is the son of the composer Ennio Morricone. He trained at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He collaborated with his father on the score for Cinema Paradiso (1988), which won a BAFTA Award for Best Original Film Music; the love theme is credited to Andrea. He composed the music for the American films Capturing the Friedmans (2003) and Liberty Heights (1999), and has scored numerous Italian films including Al cuore si comanda (2003) and The Final Inquiry (2007).
