Biography
Andreas Döhler is a German actor. He studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig from 1999 to 2003. His early theatre work included the Nationaltheater Weimar and the Thalia Theater in Hamburg (2003–2009). From 2009 he was a member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, later joining the Berliner Ensemble.
Döhler is known for his role as Lieutenant Hoppe in the film All Quiet on the Western Front (2022). Other screen credits include All Good (2018), The Calendar Killer (2024) and the television series The Saboteurs (2015) as Kurt Diebner. He has also appeared in multiple episodes of the long-running series Scene of the Crime. In 2016 he received the Förderpreis Neues Deutsches Kino for his performance in Hands of a Mother.
